PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain pipe end corrosion proofing more completely by inserting a reinforcing ring consisting of a rigid material with corrosion resistance inside a resin layer, and forcing the resin layer to joint body side at the outer periphery of the reinforcing ring, in a pipe joint formed with the resin layer along a joint body inner wall surface. SOLUTION: This pipe joint 1a is provided with a joint body 2, a resin layer 3, and a resin core 4, and the joint body 2 is provided with pipe connection parts 21, 22 at both ends of it. The resin layer 3 is formed so as to cover the inner periphery surface of the joint body 2. The resin core 4, which is of a cylindrical shape so as to come into close contact with the inner periphery surface of a pipe to be connected, is formed integrally with the resin layer 3 to pipe connection part 21 side. A ring 51 consisting of a corrosion-resistant metal material is provided as a reinforcing ring 5, and is fitted in the inside of the resin layer 3 by extending its diameter mechanically after inserting it from pipe connection part 22 side, the inner periphery surface of the end part 31 of the resin layer 3 is energized to the joint body 2 side at its outer periphery surface. It is thus possible to bring the resin layer 3 into close contact with the joint body 2 completely for prevention of pipe end corrosion.
